FDIC Deposit Insurance

Your deposits at Bank of Commerce, including checking, savings, money market accounts, and certificates of deposits, are insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) up to the insurance limits. The basic insurance amount is $250,000 per depositor. Certain retirement accounts, such as Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs), are insured up to $250,000 per depositor.

There is no need for depositors to apply for FDIC insurance or even to request it. Coverage is automatic at FDIC-insured financial institutions.

Coverage Over $250,000**

The FDIC provides separate insurance coverage for deposit accounts held in different categories of ownership.

Your accounts may qualify for more than $250,000 in coverage at Bank of Commerce if held in different ownership categories.
